The textile brand Switcher stands for durability, fair working conditions, ecological production and social commitment. This year’s collection seamlessly continues the success of previous ranges. Founded by student Robin Cornelius in 1981, the company made a name for itself as a pioneer in the production of high-quality Basic Fairtrade textiles. The name Switcher stood for ecological textile production under fair working conditions and attractive prices.

The Switcher brand also successfully launched in its new organization. The product range with 41 NOS models was completed by a complete hygiene protection collection and more new product lines will follow.

With the sustainable Switcher Basic collection we target corporate fashion partners such as, printers, resellers, retailers and companies. Our collection includes a wide range of cuts, materials and colors. T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, jackets and much more.

Switcher production takes place in the Indian clothing mecca of Tirupur at the Sulochana Cotton Spinning Mills. The entire production chain of our Indian partner Sulochana is transparent and certified according to international standards. The family-owned company uses only renewable energy for textile production and relies on yarns made from recycled PET bottles. The long-established company is also involved in environmental and social projects.

Switcher remains a Swiss model company when it comes to respect, transparency, responsibility for the environment and society, and sustainability in the textile industry. A large part of the value creation as well as logistics, design and customer service take place in Switzerland.

The Switcher concept and brand are Swiss inventions. Even with the new company name and management, the “Swissness” is retained.
The sale of the new Switcher products works exclusively through Swiss retail partners. Marketing, design and customer service come entirely from Switzerland. Switcher Trading Sàrl is also based in this country – in the tranquil town of Elfingen in the canton of Aargau, while the warehouse is located in Penthalaz in the canton of Vaud. In the new distribution structure, warehousing and logistics are handled by the Swiss logistics partner Planzer in Penthalaz in the canton of Vaud.

Already today, around 60 percent of all Planzer shipments cover long distances by CO2-neutral rail. The fine distribution of the goods over the last mile is then carried out, among other things, by electric trucks or cargo bikes. In the transport and logistics business, Planzer, like Switcher, is a true Swiss pioneer and family business.
